Located near Meridian, MS, this 560-acre solar site included 1.2 million CY of earthmoving and fine grading. Blount traveled far across the country for this project to fulfill a need for a valued client, proving that efficiency and schedule could still be met. The dense forest had to be logged and cleared, which revealed the steep slopes which required contouring and shaping in order to allow the tracker assemblies to maximize access to sunlight.
